Jabez Savente sent the following,

Popocatepetl was a crazy old native man, who was interested in staying warm or hot all of the time. One day he met a spiritual who told about an eternally hot mountain that would trade heat for one's most important posession. So Popocatepetl set off for this hot mountain. Finally he found it and demanded the heat. The mountain thought and decided that the old man's name would be perfect(Until then it had just been called hot Mountain). The trade was complete and the nameless man jumped into the molten rock that was the mountain's heat source. Instantly he died, but his name lives on in the mountian, Popocatepetl.
