Can you tell me if there are any legends about Mount Etna ? I also need to know about the kind of seismic activity that the area have.

I don't know of any legends but I suggest you ask the Istituto Internazionale di Vulcanologia - Catania. Their homepage (http://www.iiv.ct.cnr.it/index.html) will also have the latest seismic data.
