What will happen to a volcano if rain gets in it and it overflows?

rocky

Hi ,

Rain will drain through cracks into the Earth, be heated, and come back out has warm, or even hot, water. Geysers, such as those at Yellowstone, are caused by rainwater that drained down to hot rocks, then burst out as small steam eruptions.

Sincerely,
John Dvorak
