We are fourth graders studying volcanoes. Have you ever taken a bath in
lava ashes? If so, could you tell us about it and what it was like.

Dear Russell and Dane,
I have not had the opportunity to take a bath in lava ashes. I have
washed my hands with "LAVA", a bar of soap that contains volcanic ash.
The ash is abrasive and helps to scrub the dirt away.
