Prior to 1801, when did Hualalai last erupt?

rocky Landon

Dear Landon,

The next youngest major eruption was at Luamakami, a vent about half a mile (1 km) northwest of the summit. The eruption was 300 years ago. Flows moved to both the northeast and southwest, reaching half-way down the flanks. One vent collapsed during a phreatic eruption.
