VolcanoWorld is a great resource for teachers and students. I would
like to see the Hawaii section have more information, even labels with the
current photos would be helpful. I am interested in finding out more about
volcanoes in Hawaii; can you direct me?

To Anonymous,
For now, the best resource on Hawaiian volcanoes is a book by Gordon Macdonald,
Agatin Abbot, and Frank Peterson called Volcanoes in the Sea. We are planning
to put more and more information here on the VolcanoWorld page so hopefully if
you dial in again in a few months it'll be more informative. You can also try a
home page called "Virtually Hawaii".
Good Luck, and thanks for the kind words on VolcanoWorld.
Sincerely,
Scott Rowland, University of Hawaii
