What does Mauni loa mean and what is it? Also, what is Hackle??

Mauna Loa means long mountain in Hawaiian. Mauna Loa (http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/volc_images/north_america/hawaii/mauna_loa.ht ml)is the largest shield volcano on Earth. Hackle is not in the geologic dictionary (but some minerals have hackly fracture, means jagged).
