What are andisols, and important properties of them? Plus, what are some good books about them?

rocky Jamie

Hi Jamie,

Andisols are small hats made of andesite rocks wore by volcanologists in tropical areas. Perhaps you refer to andosol (also called andepts), a black or brown soil that is formed from volcanic material.
