Lassen Peak

Lassen Peak is the only other volcano in the Cascade chain that has erupted in this century. In 1914, there was a series of large eruptions. Ashfall was recorded as far as 200 miles from the volcano.

The recovery of this area shows us what we can expect at Mount St. Helens.
