
The Tibesti volcanic complex is located half way between Lake Chad and Gulf of Syrte in Southern Libya and Northern Chad. This region makes up a 350 mile triangle in length. This area surrounded by the sandstone plains and plateaus of the central Sahara is dominated by seven main volcanoes which are shown below.
